The user wants to develop, implement and test a function for longitudinal and/or lateral vehicle control based on environmental data provided by VTD.
VTD provides vehicle dynamics, traffic and sensor models. The sensors filter the environment for relevant static and dynamic objects and provide object lists to a software model that computes the reaction of the car to the actual situation.
ADAS and active safety systems (emergency braking, cruise control etc.)
